Afternoon all,
I'm thinking of buying one of these fine cars as an everyday car having been lent my father-in-law's for the past 2 months! I'm looking at the previous shape (sorry I don't know the official MB model code) so on a Y to a 52 plate. I've no kids but a large hound to lug about a weekends and have been looking for a non-7 seater car. Most of the cars I've seen have the 7 seater option. My question is - can the extra row of seats be easily removed or should I just stick to looking for 5 seater cars? Thanks - Jamie

The 7 seats are a popular option my advice would be

Get one with full MBSH

Check and check again for rust, under the rubbers around the door frames , wheel arches, around the boot lock on the tail gate

Get a well specced model

This is the boot of mine with the rear seats down
