merc clk heater problems - advice needed

Hi,

can someone please give soem advice -

I have manual aircon.
The blbs behind the aircon/heater panel have recently gone.

At the same time, the round dial that control the air direction (demist/footwell/etc) has no affect...te air is always pushed out at face vent level.

Also the indiviaul control to control the temperature (ie cold or hot) make the temp change...but is takes quite a while to have an eaffect. Also the air never gets hot...more warm. Which doesnt seem very good.
And the cold is cold...but not icebox chilly.

Fierst of all, is the direction contorl nto working likely to be a failure of a control unit (electrial)?
And should the hot and colt be much better and quicker to react?

The cra is bought oif a dealer so i takeit back to them soon to get it all fixed, but i want to have an idea of how it should be first.
