Anyone ordered a facelifted SLK yet?

As per subject.

Just wondering if there's been a rush to get the "new model" !
And if anyone has placed an order, what the lead time is and was a discount available in line with that you could get on the "old" model.

We've sold 4 now, I think all 4 of them would have ordered the current model and it was purely coincidental that the launch of the facelift was imminent and therefore probably worth the extra wait. The current lead time is about 8-12 weeks depending on which engine you choose, there are a fair few 'unsold dealer specced' cars available that could be re-specced to your choice. The discounts are still in-line with the current model, although at the moment the current model has also got a £1500 +VAT bonus on it over and above the normal dealer margin.
