COSWORTH 2.5-16 190 for sale
Discussion
i have to sell my autie's 190 2.5 cosworth, its possibly one of the best examples left standing as she is 70 years old and its only done 60k miles :-O. She got it originally from her son and has had it for many many years so its been with the same family form new.
need to price it and find some interest.. is there a relevant mercedes or merc sport bbs or forum anywhere ?
cheers

right, got the car... its been owned by my aunt for last 16 years and having driven it i would bet that she never even used the kickdown or took it beyond 4k rpm (its pretty dam fast !). It had new dampers all round a few years ago (but only 5k miles ago) and feels very good to drive. The mileage is just over 60k and that is 100% genuine and proven by the service book which is stamped by named merc dealers since its first ever service.
teh car is 1986, 2.3-16 190E in graphite grey. Interior is in amaizng condition and bodywork is pretty good apart from a teh drivers door which is scratched a bit.
Looking at autotrader i cant find any car thats even close to 80/90k miles, let alone 60k and good examples are hitting 4-4.5k.
If anyone is interested then get in contact. Seriosu buyers are welcome to go meet my aunt as well to talk to her about the cars life.
thanks
