CLK and E Class - folding rear seats?
Discussion
Thanks for the reply.
I don't carry bulky items but it would be helpful if I had the length there - won't bore you with specifics but I have a hobby that needs it
An E-Class estate would be perfect but if I can get away with a CLK or E-Class saloon then it gives me more options to consider.

There's enough boot space taken up with the roof folding assembly to start feeding cables all around to fold seats down. I think Mercedes like to think you can throw a set of golf rackets in the boot easy peasy.
Plus, if you must go to B&Q for that skirting you could always put the roof down

Interesting response - my guess is either ridgitity or security.
Nope. The responses indicate why I suggested in answer to the OP's original question that he download the price list off the MB website and have a look. Then instead of getting well intentioned but random guesses he'd know for sure.
The answer is that they're not optional on the CLK cabrio because they're fitted as standard.
