Hi, Has anyone lowered their W209 CLK 55 AMG?
I was thinking of going 30mm, but it seems Eibach don`t do them for the 55, although H&R do them but they are 40mm lower. Any experience out there?
Cheers and Happy New Year.

I had one chap (an older chap, mind) have his 209 CLK55 Brabus'd to within an inch of it's life when they first came out. He did a mile in it before he drove straight back it was that stiff.

You mention lowering, is it looks or handling you're looking for ?

If it's looks, I'd suggest filling the arches with some bigger wheels rather than lowering it.

I was wanting to do it for handling, could even fit coilovers from a decent manufacturer. I don`t want it slammed and want to keep the original tyre combination for now, as I like the subtle look, which doesn`t raise too much attention. Hoping to get to the track over the next few days to assess the car in its standard setup.
