I'm looking out for some mods to help my dads W208 320CLK cab, I'm looking for advice on induction kits and mods to the engine gearbox electronics to improve response. Any help would be great.

Try Kleeman here: http://www.kleemann.dk/site or Birds BMW for Carlsson upgrades here: http://www.birds.uk.com/

but sit down with a stiff drink before seeing their prices....

It's going to be expensive - around €10k should be budgeted really, because you will also need new pads, disc, suspension, etc., if you are going to use that extra performance.

Have you thought about picking up an M113 AMG engine (old type, same as in mine) and putting it in? I don't know how practical that is though. Kleeman have a great reputation, I vaguely remember it being around €8000 for a Stage 2 to my car. I can't find the price list but they are pretty comprehensive on it.

I would say give them a call. After that you are looking at say exhausts (again Kleeman but also Eisenmann and a good few more in Germany).

Gearbox: you're dad's V6 has the M112-E32 engine and it's got the W5A330 transmission. Kleeman say on the website that this transmission is good for 330Nm, but there is a big jump up so you would need to budget some sort of auto transmission upgrade to handle the power.

Let us know what happens, I would be interested to see what you do. the US mercedes forum at http://www.mbworld.org  might be a good source of information on the type of mods as well, as they are very much into modding mercedes across the pond with all sorts of engine and suspension stuff.
