Just bought a 2000 CL55 AMG....

Couple of small niggles...

Cant get the car to lock on the buttons on the door handles? Unlocks OK when you grab the handle (with the card in my pocket), but when I go to push the buttons to lock, nothing happens.....

Also, parking sensors throw a wobbly and 'error' (ie switch themselves off) after a few mins of driving....

Any advice welcomed.

Isn't this speed-related? 10mph, I think?

Yes after a certain speed the parking indicators switch off, but then a few mins afterwards, the red portions of the indicators light up, an alarm is sounded and the PDC button on the dash illuminates the red light (as if you have switched the switch off yourself) - they are then totally disabled until you start the car again.....

I had a similar thing, albeit not on a CL55 sadly

From memory, it was only one of the sensors, had it replaced and it was fine again.

Had the same problem recently on a S500, Merc had to change the door handles
at £98 each!!!
