Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta. Nice!
Discussion
I've just put new tyres all round on my SL55 - after reading EVO's recent tyre test, I thought I'd try the Vredesteins, and I'm very pleased I did. They have a higher load rating, so on the car they feel stiffer than the Pirellis, and the steering feel is definitely improved. Although still quite new (the rears have only 80 miles on them) the grip level is superb, and the road holding in the wet is definitely improved. I had to put 295/35s on the back, but I can live with the odometer over-reading by 1.07%. They are relatively good value as well at £159 each at the back, £132 fronts. I'm impressed! Look funky too!
