SLR - Buying Advice Needed!

Hi All.

I currently have F430 and Gallardo Spyder, they are both fantastic cars and great to drive but I am thinking of getting an SLR, I want something I can drive pretty much on a day to day basis - is this viable with an SLR? Also after taking delivery of my Gallardo Spyder in August of this year it has spent more time at the Lamborghini HQ being fixed then I have driving it! Are the SLR's pretty reliable? Also would you recommend buying a second hand SLR or ordering one new and if so what is the lead-time?

Any help would be great!
