Mercedes E Class W124 Cabriolet
Discussion
I'm considering buying a '95ish E Class W124 Cabriolet with the 3.2 litre engine. I've seen a few on the web and one in particular which I really like the sound of. I'm fairly certain the dealer is genuine (has a history of selling these things and similar quality motors).
This is a very low milage example (low 30k miles) and he wants £25k. I realise this car is very rare (its also a Sportline in Dark Blue metallic which is a v good colour), but £25K? So I'm looking for anyone out there who knows these cars to ask if you think this price is fair for what is admittedly, probably one of the best examples available today.
Would really appreciate any feedback.

Cheers for response. I myself do feel its overpriced which is why I wanted some opinion on it. However, is it grossly overpriced or just a little. And can you say on what basis you think its overpriced ? Personally I think up to £20k would be an acceptable price - over £20k is just taking the proverbiable. Trouble is this garage is used to selling to people who can afford anything they want.
Any helpful feed back would be appreciated.

Sensible miles, Sportline Spec, Good Colour Combo, high spec
I'm presuming the statement 'FUll service history (Main dealer until 2003 and one specialist thereafter)' means at one place rather than one service!
Be interested to know what the £4.5k was spent on
Looks a nice car at a sensible price

Thanks again to further replys giving me more options.
I'm still considering the original £25K one that I first mentioned. I know its probably overpriced but nothing else comes close to the milage with this vg spec. I have to give the dealer a y/n answer tomorrow before it is advertised (allegedly at a higher price - although I'm aware this could just be a dealers ploy to try to convince me to buy).
I keep you guys posted.

Thanks for highlighting this one but situation is complicated by the fact I have a car to trade in (I should have made this clear from the beginning). Therefore a private sale is not really an option - I have 3 cars already and dont want a 4th !
However, I'll keep looking - fortunately I'm not in a hurry.
Cheers
