Dear all,

Would appreciate your help on this one:

'54 reg car, but has the facelifted dashboard & four tailpipes
58,000 miles
Silver
Good to excellent condition
Only option above the normal AMG 55 is keyless go, there is no COMAND/parktronic.

Estimated value?

Many thanks

Alex

Hi Alex; Glass's gives a figure of £21000 with that spec and miles.
At this time 'the trade' would probably bid around £18000, however most would decline, because of the lack of Command.

Mark.

Was this recently? Was the car a 55 AMG?

This particular car was also on at Cargiant, although I missed it by a couple of hours frown!

You won't find one anywhere less than 22k if it had command it would be 25k.

My 55AMG cab has been valued between £21k and £28k in the last month for trade-in (all against the same type of car). Massive variations depending on whether they want to do a deal or not. Book for Oct was £29,295.

Did you know there are places who specialise in retro-fitting Comand to Mercs?

I've seen this on Ebay for £1100.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mercedes-COMAND-2-0-W203-C-C...

Don't know anything about the company, so don't take this as a recommendation, but may be worth considering if:
a) it makes it easier to sell, and
b) it adds £3K (previous post) to resale value

Regards,
