Has anyone fitted non standard tyre to a W211 E55? I see from some of the US forums 275 Rears have been fitted rather than the 265 standard fitment. Any ideas or experiences. I have Continental SP2 currently fitted but was considering a change to Pilot Sport 2's any advice welcome.
I use Michelin PS2's on my W208 AMG, it tends to eat them (around 15.000km on the rears). From reviews it seems they are known to have quite good grip, but you pay a premium for it, and they wear a little quicker.
