Ipod+Bluetooth for SLK

Hi all,

My Wife has an 07 SLK, when we ordered it we ordered it with a phone prep and an IPOD integration kit. However, the dealer was then unable to fit it to the SLK due to it being a non-command (Audio 20) model. We also had problems with the supposed BT unit, it doesn't follow HFP and therefore only works on limited phones.

Can anyone recommend a wired IPOD solution for the above? Finally, has anyone tried the new HFP module from Benz and does it work, or is there another solution? I've been looking at the Parrot ones but not sure if they work with the latest non-command head units?

There is a plug (line in) for the iPod in the glove box if you don't have the full integration kit - does this not work if you don't have comand?
