No, but whats the budget?

Prices between the average and the very best vary enormously

Thought this was a good buy

Lol must be getting a reputation!

£5k ought to buy a good one, maybe even a very nice 320 if your lucky

just remember, condition, history and provenence before mileage

E30 is not for sale! biggrin

well, went to look at 2 this evening...

one J plate 300 CE with carb engine (?) - old boy owner, 113k, interior was immaculate, great history, bodywork needed a good t-cut and 1 slighlty bubbly arch which can be slavaged - £2,600

one M plate E320 - 2 owners, good history, 108k, bodywork was good, interior was filthy as hell and needed a bit of work (ill fitting trim from when the rear wings were replaced) and a rusty patch on the N/S inner arch (behind the headlight) the size of a 50p - could have put my finger through it, needs front tyres - £4,750

both needed new dampers all round but can't see the £2k difference in them TBH

will need to look at a few more before I can work out the good from the bad irked

is there anything other than the obvious bits to watch out for?

ps - you know you want to sell the E30 to me wink

I'd have a rummage on the jumble (ebay) plenty about, find a nicely listed one with lots of info plenty to choose from, go & view a few, make an offer there & then if its a good one.

Unfortunately there are two type of owners, fastidious & live-in with these cars its just finding a fastideous owner with the right spec & colour.

he's a trader but happy to view on sunday so I don't mind taking a drive up there - chance to stretch the RS's legs

one thing that struck me this morning - why do they all have the same smell inside, kind of damp/musty smell? is it the aged leather?
