S320 cdi 2002 with 113k,,,,anything i need to know

The following is not common to all, but are known areas to look :-
Turbo's on diesels.
Glowplugs.
Rust - yes honestly - wheelarches, doors, bonnets, boot lids(rusts from inside out)
Creaky/wonky air suspension - not cheap to fix
Damp front footwells due to blocked drain under bonnet - lots of expensive electrics down there.
Malfunctioning electrical items.
Failed catalysts on petrol models.
Best with Comand, leather, 18" alloys and FMBSH/Mobilo life (should allow for rust repair under warranty)
Get it inspected !
Finally, do you need a diesel ? Lots less to go wrong engine wise (read expensive) on an S320 petrol, plus cheaper to buy. Just a thought.
