Oooh, thats gorgeous, I've always fancied a CLK GTR since it was reviewed in one of the car mags way back (it might even have been one of the first Evo magazines).

Auto Salon Singen always have a few, I have to say if my lottery numbers come up I'll be having one like a shot, I just hope the road cars don't have the same high speed "handling quirks" as the CLR hehe

allegedly those cars were not engineered properly- remember le mans? and also an american owner bought one and after 2.000 miles the whole car broke and there was this warranty wraggling with mercedes usa

That was a slightly different car, the CLR, although it was not far from the CLK GTR

'whole car broke' hehe intersting description! I remember reading up on this.. it was problematic and used oil and stuff like that - not ideal if you buy a £650k car, but then it's not exactly your average S-class is it so it's not going to be the same to run? Sounded like normal stuff for a Ferrari owner!
