S Class?

Been offered a 9 month old CDi with tons of toys - currently have a 535d which I love, but the Merc can come at a figure which makes it no-brainer.

Any of you guys have advice / good / bad experience with new model S?

From personal experience the new 221 s class is fabulous, sreets ahead of anything else.

Absolutely superb car, when I worked at an MB dealer did quite a lot of miles in S class, mostly S320cdi but on occasion S500 and S350 petrols. Very comfortable to drive long distance in, nice and low key to make good progress without drawing too much attention, can be hustled along really well, especially with the Airmatic switched to sport.

Post the spec up here so we can have a look, they are quite spec sensitive when it comes to residuals.

I would have to disagree on being discreet, those new arches are lairy as hell but god do they look good.

Haven't heard enough reports about MB build quality on this model yet. Let's hope it's better than old one!

My old man has a new 320Cdi. Bloomin fantastic! Much better than his previous shape CDi.

Just need to get him to chip it now
