CHANGING BATTERY IN SLK

I have offered to help my friend change the battery in his R reg SLK, Is there any pointers that i might need? Special tools Etc, i am going into this blind have never seen under the bonet. Thanks

Battery's and Merc's can be complicated - if they're disconnected then several things need to be reset, and sometimes units that worked perfectly beforehand suddenly stop working.
