I dealer tried fitting a Sprint Booster (type BDD 451A)to my 2003 CLK55 AMG today but it disabled the excelorator function entirely. frown

We checked that it was the model for "all Mercedes" and the type for an automatic but still nothing.

Has anyone else tried using the gadget?

Description. It is a device that improves acceleration by continuously measuring and converting the digital signal provided by the ECT’s potentiometer, and providing the ECM with a new and altered signal.

i've had one on my c32 for about 10 months or so without any issues

i got mine direct from here

http://www.sprintbooster.gr/en/

and connected it myself in less than 20 minutes

its very easy to fit and just plugs in, in line at the back of the accelerator pedal.

i can only imagine your problems are being caused by a faulty unit confused

i/m/o this is a great mod and well worth the money, it makes a big difference to the way the car drives

i hope you get this sorted thumbup

Hi Pete, I fitted one to my ML63 and it works great. Just like having a Sport button permanently pressed, it removes that lazy feel to the throttle and let's me deploy all 511 horses as I like.

I bought mine off eBay. You should find all the information you need on the following thread;
