E55 'squeal' noise

Hi everyone,
My car is a current shape E55 AMG and I've not had it long.
I had the windows down the other day in a multi-storey car park and when I accelerated sharply / aggressively, I noticed a 'squeal' / 'chirping' noise from the engine. It lasted only a split second and was right at the beginning of the acceleration burst and then it stopped.
Now I know it wasn't the tyres lighting up or the small animals that the beast had probably sucked off the M23 earlier, but does the supercharger / kompressor make that sort of noise in the 55 AMG engine, or is it more likely to be a belt that needs attention?
Car has only done 24k and has full MB dealer history with warranty, so it's by no means an abused example.
Any advice welcome.

I did look at black, but having just sold a black car and had sooo many problems trying to keep the paint work looking half decent, I went for the lazy Silver option. Not as mean as Obsidian Black, but still a looker IMHO.
Pics will follow soon hopefully - I'll ask my better half to help me, as she's a photographer and I'm rubbish with any form of technology. In fact, it's amazing that I managed to post this topic in the first place.
