That is a good price, when I was at Mercedes we'd have been selling a leggy S320 at that age for that money, not one with zero miles.

Obviously the computer will be asking for a service now, if its been at the dealers for a while (3 years yikes most of the trade works on 90 days in stock before we clear stuff out) then get them to service it.

IMO that age of S is the nicest looking.

Best of luck.

Does sound like a good buy ! Is that the final price ? I know in Norway at least car prices are crackers with all the tax they lump on top. I was in Oslo last month and didn't see anything half intresting - A new Audi Q7 ploughed through the snow and turned heads, that was it.

As Mark said, it'll need a service and also the brake fluid will want changing too if it hasn't been drained before it was stored.

Good colour combo too, they don't look too big in black but the lighter interior looks massive inside.

Just checked on our workshop computer, It does mention to check the Air Con gas too, in fact I would imagine it will need regassing, so factor that in too.

The car will really be crying out for a new battery too, if the battery is totally flat it's very important NOT to try and jump start it. The dash is a bit fragile when it comes to big spikes in power and will burn out. At a minimum trickle charge it up, but the real thing to do is buy a new one - the local MB dealer will supply a fully carged one (they cost around £100 here).

O/T Any joy yet Mark ? How did Jag go ?
