screen washer motor SLK

Anyone know where the motor for the screenwash is mounted? Plenty of water in the bottle, fuse OK so its the next step.

It's a little black unit slotted into a groove in the washer bottle, follow the hoses round and you should find it.

Did you get those roll hoops sorted ?

Can I assume the washer bottle is in the wing somewhere as the filler neck appears to go that way. There are no hoses/pipes to follow

Just had a look at one for you, didn't realise they hid it so well !

The only way to get at it is get the car in the air and take the drivers side wheel off, then remove the wheel arch lining inside the wing and have a fiddle in there.

Not the best place to hide it, but I suppose there isn't the greatest deal of space under there in the SLK.

Yes thanks Ben. No there is not a lot of space under the hood with the 320 don't know about the 200, 230 etc. Weird thing is it has suddenly decided to work again. Must be the Gremlins fecking about in the garage again.
