Calling all Oldtimers out there!
The BBC are looking for a classic Mercedes-Benz from the 50s, 60s or 70s to film as part of a new television series called The Restaurant. Can you help us find the right car?
The programme will be shown on BBC2 later in the year and features celebrity chef and restaurant owner, Raymond Blanc as he coaches a number of couples through the highs and lows of running their own restaurants.
The car will be used by Raymond as he drives between locations in the South of England and will therefore be featured on screen. The BBC will need to borrow the car for a maximum of three days, sometime between the end of April and June. Ideally they would like an open-top car as it's likely there will be sweeping shots filmed from a helicopter.
If you know someone who owns a classic car that they would like to see featured on prime time television and would be prepared to loan the car for a three-day period, please contact Debbie Hull in the Mercedes-Benz Press Office, debbie.hull@daimlerchrysler.co.uk, by email attaching a photograph of the car. It is likely the BBC will be prepared to negotiate a nominal fee for use of the car.

Hope this appeals to someone on PH.

Sadly my car doesn't fall into this category required

Doesn't that sound familiar (Gorden Ramsey Kitchen Nightmare-esque!)
