There is also a Chrysler Crossfire PDF kicking around which has tons of useful info regarding wiring and engine etc.

It is about 80Mb
The benzworld forum has loads of SLK tips/tricks/stories so if u have a problem I am sure u can get the answer there. Basically MB do not want you to service the car yourself so the dealer network can continue to fleace you for what for the most part is basic car mechanics. I am currently on my second SLK which is an AMG 32 with the heated seat problem which I fixed myself for £60 where the dealer would charge around £450 to do it......use the benzworld forum and you won't have much of a problem.
