Hi,
We will be taking my wifes c class coupe to france in a couple of weeks and was wondering if you can change the headlight settings for driving on the wrong side !? or do I need to get some of those sticker things?

thanks

Simon

Had mine done and changed back to normal on my SLK by the dealer FOC, but it was a pain going there twice.

They move something so that the look of your dipped beam goes from

\__ \__

to
___ ___

I didn't bother the second time I went and I had no problems with the natives.

Thanks for reply, the only prob with dealer visits is the uk journey will be at night and we seem to get flashed enough as it is let alone with them set to dazzle!

In my naivety I thought there may have been a switch to flick.

Might be worth a look in your handbook.

Mine are Xenons

I could have done them myself but my hands are too big... or the space is too small.. to reach the thing you have to move.

There's a little lever on the back of the headlamp. It snaps off easily, apparently, so maybe it's best to let someone else do it.

On some cars the lever is a switch and the position has moved to close to the beam aiming screw. My car has both types. Naturally the side the dealer showed me was the old lever side, so when I arrived at Dover docks I was a bit confused.
