I have to admit I didn't like the CL when it first came out.

But then I saw a pic of the AMG kitted CL thumbup

ETA: Not too keen on those wheels on the Romans International one....don't seem "butch" enough

The wheels do look small. Nothing a set of Brabus wheels couldn't sort out See they've also got 2 Veyrons

Are you sure, when the previous faster £150k variant was I quote "great engine but abysmal on corners"?

Saw the new CL63 at the local merc dealeship yesterday and it looked good in black.

I certainly hope so.

Given the big strides forwards ito interior build (your own ML, for e.g. m'Lud) then one might be forgiven for assuming similar leaps into greater dynamicism on road.

Funnily enough, I was in Gandalf's oil burning TD Kosovan transporter earlier when I came across the rump of an SL55 AMG.

I was travelling in the manner of a flaming ferret but this glorious rear saw me bearing down, squatted itself and in answer thrust forth like the hyper drive kicking in following a moment of genius R2 interaction aboard Solo's Falconus Milenium.

Like your eminent self, I suspect my introduction to AMG ownership will be that venerable mechanical Howitzer with only 2 seats which you yourself seek, Sire.

Could that CL65 AMG have been citrus? (With only 4k miles on it? yikes)
