Unimog truck in this country?

Hi all I have just popped in from the Lotus forum to ask for your advice. I have been looking at these machines on the net and cannot find many for sale in this country. Have I got no chance in getting one from the UK? If so where can I import one from? Has anyone got one or know the best place for me to start looking - many thanks in advance.

I've always fancied a Unimog, I even asked if we could get the dealership at work, I thought it would sit well alongside Maybach and SLR!

They are definitely sold in the UK by Mercedes, many years ago I did some work on a corporate video for them filming Unimogs in many different guises.

I'm sure I went to Milton Keynes and had a meeting at their headquarters, thats where most of the filming took place IIRC.

My friend from school has a unimog, just for a bit of a giggle!

He bought it from atkinsons? in Lancaster or Penrith, I think he stocks quite a few unimogs.
