No, certain it was an S66.
Best we don't bet on this.......
Well.... now you come to mention it...., you may have a point....., the S65 AMG is the current shape UK car....... I'm back with the same client tomorrow so may take a another look and take a photo if it's some kind of mystery import. Don't hold your breath though

Trust me, its an S65, we had one in our showroom for a while, it was awesome, ours listed up to £156600 with all the bells and whistles and was quite extraordinarily fast for a big limo. Ours had 20" AMG wheels which set it off well. Its space is now filled with a blue SLR
Just to clear up things up with models and model numbers
The previous (W220) S-Class had a special edition in the form of the S63 AMG. This was a pre-facelift S-Class with a naturally aspirated 6.3 V12 based on the S600's 6.0 V12.
There was also the naturally aspirated 5.5 V8 S55 AMG
Post facelift, the W220 S600 was a 5.5 V12 bi-turbo. Thee S55 gained the near 500bhp 5.5 supercharged V8. And the original S65 AMG was released. This was 6.0 V12 bi-turbo based on the new S600 engine- but it was thoroughly reworked. This produced 612bhp and something like 700+lb/ft of torque.
When the new (W221) S-Class was released, the AMG version was the S65 AMG. The engine was identical to that as in the previous S65.
This W221 S63 AMG uses Mercedes new naturally aspirated 6.3 V8 and produces over 500bhp.
As mentioned earlier, an S66 does not exist.
Hope this helps clear up the matter of the badging
