SLK wont unlock

Help, I have an 02 SLK. when i press unluck to indicators flas, but the doors and boot remain locked.

At this point i realised the car doesnt have a key hole in either door.

Any ideas??

You sure....normally they have a key hole that has a blanking cover on it. At least the C Class does. Insert key and open. Then put key in ignition turn so lights on dash come up, closr the door and keeping pressing the lock button on the remote whilst the key is in the ignition...everntually you'll here the doors lock as the code of the key catches up with the car. Happens every now and then, only a problem if the battery is dead in the key.
Thinking deeper it is unusual that the indicators flash - this denotes the alarm is switching on or off - so possibly a relay or motor in the central locking has failed.

All sorted, battery is flat. Now to work out why!
