2002/03. S Class

Hi Guys,

I am thinking of an S CLASS as above.

Anyone run a 320/500 petrol ?

Should I go for the 320 CDI ?

Go for a 2003 if you can, as it was facelifted ('crystal' lights, widescreen sat nav are easy clues)

The S500 is great value for money compared to new prices, but the CDI's hold their money better.

You can get a full package (called Service Plus) from MB which is fully maintained (exept rubber and pads) and full warranty for £1350inc VAT PA on 20k pa which takes away any worry.

I run a 2004 S320L CDI and get about 31mpg average, 39/41 on long trips
