i've been wanting to have a go at this for some time but haven't been able to make it to any of the dates yet.
if you have a look on www.dragtimes.com/http: and search for your model of car you can get an idea of what to aim for.
hopefully when the weather picks up i'll get a chance to try it out, just need to borrow a helmet from somewhere

That's a great website. Many thanks. Like you, i'm gonna wait for certain dry weather.. traction not being the E55's strong point!
