Hi there all

Am looking in to buying a C32 amg but want to get it tuned
i live in the uk but am finding it hard to find a company who deals with them or lists them on there site.

Not wanting to go over the top. air filters, pully kit for the supercharger, Full exshaust system if it makes a diffrence to these cars, and chip if the cars ecu can be chipped.

What kind of power increase should i see ?

Can any one help me some links to sites etc
Thanks in advance

Birds (birdsauto.com) do an upgrade to over 400bhp with almost 600lb/ft but it will not be cheap. I assume they will do partial upgrades too (ie: just a pulley or an exhaust, etc)

Kleemann (kleemannuk.com) will take lots of money off you too :-)

DMS (dmsautomotive.com) amongst others will do re-maps.

Hope these are of some use.....

Add to these suggestions Brabus can tune the motor is a couple of ways. They either mess about with the Supercharger to get 378bhp or they enlarge the engine to 3.7 litres and get 404bhp. They also so an uprated LSD for the car.

tuning a c32 can get some good results, typical tuning products are available from brabus, carlsson, kleemann and also MKB, but you need pretty deep pockets
a lot of people seem to go with the ecu upgrade and pully kit (stage 1) which gives on average aroung 400 hp,
from there you need to start changing camshafts, headers etc to gain more power

you can get a full exhaust system but as far as i know it adds very little power so probably not worth the expense

a lsd is definitely worth thinking about as traction is a real problem with these cars even in standard form.
there are a few companies that will kit you out with one, but if you can find someone to fit it you may want to consider giving quaife a ring, they do a lsd for the chrysler market which also fits amg's.
so far they've recieved nothing but praise and they work out a fair bit cheaper to buy than the rivals, but the instalation cost will probably be a bit of an unknown

I enquired with Brabus about suspension/handling improvements. They were very helpful, and also said that any MB retailer can carry out the work. I then spoke with one of the local MB retailers and they confirmed that, incl. the Brabus chip modifications. It appeals to me for the convenience of it, plus no hassle over warranty etc (...i assume).

get the car remapped first on the standard car . you might find that your happy with the performance gains.
this company below remaps for around £350. the software is downloaded from germany.expect around 10% increase in bhp/torque.
