A couple COMAND questions

Hi chaps, wondering if anyone could help me out with a couple COMAND questions on a CL500 W215;

1. Can the TV be unlocked to watch whilst driving? And does anyone know where this can be done? I believe it can be overriden by the STAR diagnosis tool.

2. Can an external DVD player be linked up the COMAND system and viewed by the front screen? It's an early COMAND unit with a CD front loader instead of the later ones which had a DVD. Can the later (widescreen) COMAND units be fitted to replace the older style one?

Thx Greg, I'm cool fella, was going for an M5 but now gone for a CL500 for a bit, it's a massive spec and very reasonably priced.

Can you send me details on question 1 please??? Ta mate and on question 2 thanks for sending me that info, I'll have a quick look around on there.

BTW, I can get hold of either 19" or 20" Brabus wheels, would 20's be too harsh on the ride and would it be best to go for 19's and drop it a bit??? What ya reckon?? T
