I posted this in 'engine and drivetrain' but didn't get much in response. Thought someone here might be interested so:

Result:

Slightly disappointed overall at the ~16bhp power loss, but I guess that's 1bhp per year so not too bad! It doesn't run/idle 100% correctly so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Thats certainly not a bad power loss considering the car's age. And the Coworth can still blow the socks off some modern cars I bet.

Great video, too thumbup

Over 70bhp lost through the drivetrain seems alarmingly high, no?

I thought that...Is it an auto? I thought roughly 15% lost through transmission on a manual?

Nope it's a manual, done in 4th gear. My gearbox has just been rebuilt but is noisy and there's a nice clunk in my drivetrain somewhere.

Other rear drive cars made similar drivetrain losses on the day (bmw 330d, m535i, ferrari 348tb all around 65-85 bhp loss).

ASD would have been activating so I may have had a solid locked rear diff during the run - not a problem apparently?

109 bhp @ wheel not that impressive sounding though is it.
