cl55 wheels to fit clk430

I have bought 19"amg wheels off cl55(215) to put on my 1999 clk 430.Not tried them yet as waiting for tyres but been told may need shims on back?

Hmmm, I'm not an expert but the offsets for the CL wheels will be all wrong for a W208 CLK. Looking at your other thread too I'm not sure you'll get 245/45F 275/35R tyres under the arches either and even if you do they'll be well oversized (70mm at front and 50mm at rear) which will probably bugger up your cruise control.

I think you'll need 235/35 F & 265/30 R but the offsets will still be out....
