Navigation Disc Help (E-Class)

My father has a '04 E-Class with the basic navigation system (no map screen, just turn-by-turn). What sort of disc will he need and what's the latest version.

Any info you have would be much appreciated, I'm planning to get it from eBay to avoid dealer prices...
