CLS 350 cgi

Hi, looking at purchasing CLS 350 cgi for the wife. What can I expect to get as an average MPG on motorway runs? Mercedes say circa 31 mpg.

The cgi is the new petrol engine which is set up to run really economically on low sulphur petrol. We've not had one in yet, as soon as we do I'll report back on MPG.

The trouble with asking MPG figures is that there are so many variables - I have a C270CDi and I can get 50MPG on a 160 mile motorway run (at 70ish) that I do quite often. However if it's a shorter journey, I'm pressing on, traffic's heavy etc, then I can see 35MPG.
(All figures are off the trip computer, which are notorious for over-reading)
