Merc events/clubs?

Hi all

My dad recently bought an R129 SL600 and would like to maybe attend some Merc events with it. Does anyone know of where more info could be found on such events and in particular SL orientated 'clubs'.

Any info would be much appreciated.

There are quite a few mercedes benz owners club, benzworld, mercedesclub, mbclub.
