Ipod

Hi Guys and Gals,

I have got or should I say the Mrs has got an 06 CLK 320 with navigation and was wondering isit possible to get Ipod into there some how with a lead or something and also be able to control it from the front screen and keep the Ipod hidden.

I have an 06 Cayenne and are looking for one for mine and have also put a post on the Porsche section.

Any help or guidence would be much appreciated.

My local merc dealer has an advert in their reception concerning fitting ipods into later cars. I imagine the best installation wrt using screen and steering wheel controls etc would be with a merc recognised system. Didn't ask how much it ocsts though. (main dealer installation shouldn't affect your warranty either)

If you just want to shuffle play, there's probably a 3.5mm stereo input jack in the glove compartment that you can connect anything to. However the full kit is probably worth having.

You can burn MP3s onto DVD and they play on the COMAND system... have a play with that?

Hi guys I have been ringing around thanks for all the information.

But I have come accross a company called Nav TV there website is www.nav.tv and they are releasing a product in a few weeks time for my mrs merc and it sounds pretty cool. The are also bringing one out for my Cayenne and I have seen it working and it good very good.

Check them out I have ended up spending more than I budgeted for because they got some other good product so gone from spending couple of hundered quid to £3798.56 NICE!!!

And my local dealer is supplying it all.
