Smart ForFour Brabus

Hi all,

Not sure if this is in the right forum - please feel free to cover me in tar and feathers and parade me throught the streets if not.

I've recently seen a few adverts for the Smart ForFour Brabus and I think it looks good. I'm considering it as a possible car for the girlfriend but, to be honest, I don't know a whole lot about it.

Does anyone here have one, or know anything about them? Are they any good? Does the performance live up to the official figures? How reliable are they?

I would be buying a brand-new model I suspect.

I wouldnt (and I own one). Depreciation is ATROCIOUS, i'm looking at a £10k loss in 14months. Get one on their PCP 0.7% finance and hand it back, that way its not too bad. Oh and make sure you take out gap insurance.

Otherwise, its a nice car - discreet and goes like the clappers. Will leave a MCS standing.

Hi there

As i worked for a mercedes/smart dealer in the south
what i can tell you is any Smart Forfour bought after 1 april 2006 come's with a FOUR year warranty!!!!

The only main problem was front shockers leaking.

Brabus 1.5 litre engine 177bhp
VW golf MK4 1.8 litre engine 180bhp

And yes it does go like the clappers.
