How long will current E class be in production for ?

I am aware they have just facelifted the current E class ( hardly any real visual change ) but how much longer will this model be in production for - bascially I am contemplating an E55 ( under 12 months old ) but want to be sure the model still has a decent run left before I buy one only to find a new model is just around the corner . Really appreciate the input - Barry

New C-Class comes out around 2007/08....Think the new E Class will be around 2009/10, although just my own guess, seeing as last C Class came out about a year or so before the E-Class.

My thoughts exactly....just ordered an E63 est to replace the 55.....cracking car, think I'll miss the surge of those chargers though.
