Hi Peeps, I can get hold of a set of W140 CL class alloys in 18" for free which I am hoping I can fit on my S to replace the tiny rims I currently have on (16's).

What I wanted to know was whether this would work or not, will the offset and hole alignement be OK?

Where can I find out the exact sizes including offsets for both the S with 16's and the CL with 18's?

I know the car would look better with these on than the ones I already have but I'm worried about the ride being affected with having low profile boots fitted, has anyone done this and noticed much ride difference??

Thanks for any help.

T.

The W140 Saloon did have the option of the 18's found on a CL (I assume they are the 5 hole design, with 255 tyres??).

I could be wrong on this, but surely it could just be a straight swap??
