Has anyone read seen or heard of a manual box conversion for the above, I am not getting on great guns with mine down the twisty bits. I think this would be the ultimate with a 6 speed box and worth paying for rather than opting for a 997 or Aston V8.

I wouldn't have thought you could find anyone to do this conversion. All the major tuners don't seem to anything like that.
However I'm sure there's someone out there willing to do this - bet it would cost a fair bit though!

I know the manual option is still not great but if you hold the left button for one second the car will shift into the optimum gear for acceleration. I tend to find that helps a little on the twisty stuff. You can control the gears in auto mode as well but you need to have lived with the gearbox for a while so you know via the throttle what it's about to do and the gearbox also gets to know you. Mine is now run in and the gearbox is a lot smoother and seems to have got used to my heavy right foot.

No chance of a gearbox change though unless you actually tell a tuner you want to do it specifically and give them stupid money.

How many miles has yours done, I have just had a reply from birds who do mod the electrics but at a cost of £3000 plus vat

Mine is 5 miles short of the 1000 miles mark. But I have been giving it the full beans since around 850 miles.

Mines done 3000 miles, it needs a blip of the throttle on the downshift or it tries to lock the back wheels or does not shift at all. The throttle cant be blipped so it would have to be done by the car like on the M3 CSL
