Was sad to see the Tam go but the SLK has not disappointed as yet. The SLK is just so much more practical as an everyday car and plenty fast enough for my own needs.

You know it makes sense

I was a long time (10 years +) TVR owner, regional organiser and club committee member but in terms of fit and finish, design, engineering, spec and residual value, there is just no comparison with the SLK. As a track toy only, TVRs may have a justification, but as a car for regular use, no thanks.
