Can anyone give me some advice on repairing massaging seats on this car, both seats don't work and when you try and adjust the backs nothing happens, electric movement is all fine. When a switch position is pressed the valve block in the seat back clicks but nothing happens - Can anyone help or where can i get info on it? Also the pump, which i think is in the boot,ns, is new to my knowledge - fed up with merc dealers is the clients comment. Help?????

ALRIGHT I TAKE IT YOUR CENTRAL LOCKING IS WORKING OK (SAME PUMP),AND THAT CONNECTION PLUG IS GOOD (NO RUSTY PINS ETC), THEN YOU COULD TRY DISCONNECTING BOTH SEAT/CUSHION CONTROL UNITS LOCATED IN EACH SEAT BACK(THE ONE WITH THE PIPES)AND LEAVE FOR A MINS AND RECONNECT,
NOT SURE MY MEMORY NOT THAT GOOD BUT THERE MAY BE RECALL/STI ON SAID CONTROL UNIT ,POP INTO YOUR LOCAL DEALER AND ASK FOR A RECALL CHECK (DONE ON VIN NO)

a11lvj : Typing in uppercase is considered to be shouting and as such may annoy some .....

blueSL : Who exactly is this question aimed at ? Don't you think it would have been more prudent to ask a111vj why he was typing in uppercase instead of flaming him. Personal abuse will not be tolerated on PistonHeads ....
