Reset service reminder !

Hi guys does anyone no how to reset the service reminder on a 2004 S350 ! with out a computer ! or cant it be done.

Have your normal display on the dash, outside air temp or whatever. Arrow up or down on your steering wheel until you roll round to the service message. Press and hold R on the left of the cluster to reset, release and hold to confirm.

Surely with such a new car, that will affect the residual value? I wouldn't buy a car less than five years old without a main dealer history.

Steve, it's in the oweners handbook, hidden away somewhere. Since all this Euro Block Exeption gubbins as long as a car is maintained using genuine parts, the vehicles warranty cannot be affected. I have to admit I'd prefer a service book full of Merc badges to a ream of reciepts. GO55 USA looks like a trade kind of guy to me, is this a car you have in stock ?
