Merecedes 190 2.3 16 dash stopwatch

I've just bought a rather nice original 190 and the stopwatch in the middle of the three dials is broken. My MB specialist has told me they are out of stock with Mercedes. Anyone know where I might get one. I rather like the idea of stopwatch being standard.... Thanks

Before I help you, could you tell me a bit more about your car?

They are a VDO item, tend to not work from what I have seen and I have also heard are hard to come by.

That said, try my old friends at mercman www.mercman.net , they are one of the decent Mercedes breakers.

Presumable it has good power? I noticed recently mine's a bit dodgy and works when I push the right side? shrug.
