CL 55 AMG

Went to look at a 2000 CL 55 AMG yesterday and was surprised to find that it didnt have the usally give away sings of an AMG ie.4x exhust,AMG dash,AMG seat emblems e.c.t. even the brake covers didnt have AMG on them like my 1999 E55.

Hi Axel, No, what you saw was not an AMG.If it were, you would have 18" alloys AMG emblem brake callipers cross drilled brakes,AMG on the dials,sports seats, Bose sound,glass roof,park dis` control,6 cd,Bi-xenons,2 times twin exaust with AMG on the chrome tails,full spoiler kit,Mem` front seats and col`, Also buttons on the steering wheel to change gear in manual mode. Trade book for a 2000 car is 28k-30k, retale plus 3-4k for a good car circa 50k miles. Hope this helps Mark.
