ABS Warning Light

Hi all,

Have just had my abs warning light come on in a 1997 C200, any ideas on why this could be before forking out huge amounts of money. Could it be anything simple?

I hope it is something simple like a sensor as these are the usual culprits - there is one each side at the front and one only at the back on the differential - this I know is about £80.
The front ones could respond to being cleaned.

Could be even more simple, there is a brake switch that go all the time, just under the pedal - under £12.

Mmm, sods law, just had one in this morning, and it turned out to be the rear diff. sender, not the usual culprit brake light switch.
